Hi! I’m Wendy—but my dad always called me Breezy.
Partly because it’s a play on Wendy (windy = breezy).
Partly because I tend to float through life like a cocktail umbrella in a strong trade wind.
And definitely because I breeze through life with the grace of a flamingo in flip-flops.
Which is… not inaccurate.
One minute I’m sipping champagne under a palm tree, and the next I’m unintentionally adopting a stray fox or sweet-talking my way through customs with a tote full of seashells, one suspicious lava rock, and absolutely no regrets.
I’m the flip-flop-wearing hurricane of glitter and poor impulse control behind Flip Flop Cheers, a sunshine-soaked travel brand dedicated to wanderlust, whimsy, and collecting hilarious stories (usually at my own expense). I don’t pretend to have it all figured out—I just chaotically sashay through paradise, cocktail in hand, turning mildly embarrassing international moments into highly entertaining travel tales. And I bring you along for the ride.
And speaking of bringing people along… enter my husband.
He’s the yin to my SPF-slathered yang and the stable Capricorn to my spontaneous Pisces energy. A platinum-status traveler in every airline, an MIT-trained Capricorn who could probably MacGyver an airport terminal if needed, and the man who stays calm while I befriend goats, chat with birds, or attempt to smuggle home rocks from my own backyard.
His idea of vacation prep?
three versions of our itinerary just in case. For fun.
Mine?
Booking a spa treatment I can’t pronounce and packing 14 bikinis for a 5-day trip.
He’s logic, dry wit, and redundant travel copies.
I’m impulse, flip-flops, and bubbles.
Together, we’re a rom-com waiting to miss a ferry.
We’re in our fabulous 60s (but let’s be honest—we operate like we’re in our 30s, unsupervised, and holding brand-new passports). After decades of travel across every continent except Antarctica (because hello, no sandals allowed), we still adore discovering new places—and accidentally making a scene in all of them.
When we’re not on the road, we’re home in our own beautiful brand of chaos, raising three fur-babies who are definitely better behaved—and probably cuter—than I am:
A silky little Australian prince who runs the house and knows it
A Yorkshire Terrier, our clumsy (and suspiciously on-brand) pup who we affectionately named Tipsy
And big ol' Bernedoodle who thinks she’s a human toddler—she gives real hugs, demands snuggles, and somehow always knows when I need both.
When the pups can’t travel with us, they get to stay in our home with their beloved second mom—our rockstar dog sitter who spoils them rotten, lets them sleep in bed with her, and might honestly be a better parent than I am because she's there 24/7 until we get back home. It’s fine. I’m not jealous. (Okay, maybe just a little.)
When I’m not writing books, flinging a ukulele out of my beach tote like it just realized it’s on the no-fly list, or exchanging passive-aggressive glances with a bird that’s clearly judging my outfit, I’m probably dreaming up the next Flip-Flop Cheers adventure, hugging my dogs like they’re rescue sloths in need of 24/7 cuddles, or Googling things like “what’s the legal limit of seashells before someone calls Interpol?”
So, if you love tropical vibes, ridiculous travel stories, a little chaos, a lot of heart, and frequent mentions of cocktails and questionable antics —you’ve found your people. Welcome to the party!!!
Now, for the slightly fancier version of me that sounds like I have it all together:
Wendy “Breezy” Corry is the sun-kissed, flip-flop-wearing founder and sparkling personality behind Flip-Flop Cheers, a travel lifestyle brand celebrating wanderlust, whimsy, and the occasional well-timed piña colada spill. Equal parts travel guide and rom-com heroine, she’s a true Pisces with a heart full of joy, a passport full of stamps, and a carry-on bag suspiciously packed with backup flip-flops, dropped ukuleles, and emotional support snacks (unless she sacrificed those for one more sundress).
A proud dog mama to three beloved fur-babies and a walking sitcom moment waiting to happen, Wendy documents her globe-trotting adventures with a breezy wit, a cocktail in hand, and a husband in tow—a dry-humored Capricorn MIT grad who reads fine print for fun, charges his toothbrush like it’s a Tesla, and remains calmly amused as she gets hilariously lost in foreign airports, emotionally entangles with geckos, or attempts to smuggle lava rocks from her own property.
She and her husband, now in their fabulous 60s but operating on flirty-30s energy, celebrated their one-year anniversary-slash-honeymoon in Fiji—a tropical escapade packed with luxury, wildlife, spontaneous spa bookings, and wild monologues about judgmental birds. That trip launched her first book in the Flip-Flop Cheers series: a laugh-out-loud travel essay-meets-guidebook hybrid that blends glamor, chaos, and helpful info with her signature girl-next-door tone.
When she's not feeding potentially dangerous animals or talking her way past resort staff with charm and a beachy grin, Wendy's dreaming up her next adventure, writing the next chapter, or curating custom merchandise for her followers (yes, there will be logo totes). Her fans love her for her humor, honesty, and uncanny ability to turn even a sunburn into a story worth retelling.
Her dad used to call her Breezy, a nickname that plays on her given name Wendy—and perfectly captures her vibe: warm, light, a little unpredictable, and absolutely unforgettable.

“I’m not a travel expert—
I’m more of a bedazzled flight risk with a carry-on full of bad decisions and backup flip-flops,
who lands in foreign countries with one solid plan:
Find the champagne. Try not to adopt a stray animal.
And trust my future self to figure out how to turn a sarong into a formal outfit.”
